We've rounded up the 25 wealthiest tech entrepreneurs and investors in Britain, from this year's The Sunday Times Rich List, and looked at how they made their money.
25. Mike Lynch — Net worth: £470 million ($718 million)

Where the money came from: In 1996, Lynch founded the software company Autonomy. It continued to grow before he sold it to HP for £6.5 billion ($9.94 billion) in October 2011. HP fired Mike Lynch in 2012 following "disappointing results."

Where the money comes from: The entrepreneur probably best know for his role on "Dragon's Den" is heavily involved in the telecoms industry. He recently launched Brandpath, a merger of his previous telecoms investments.

Where the money came from: Cash has invested in a number of internet firms, as well as London real estate. An "elusive" figure, there are few photos of him out there.
